Vivanta Meghalaya Shillong

Wonderful stay, and amazing breakfast! The customer reception is unparalleled. Loved it!

The hotel was fabulous and so was the staff at the hotel. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. Also the breakfast buffet and the staff was awesome and helpful Mr. Fedrick and pyunsuk were very helpful and even guided us for the local tours. It was an awesome experience to stay at Vivanta.

We spent 4 wonderful days at the Vivanta Meghalaya, Shillong earlier this month. It was a last minute trip & I didn't have a chance to research the property before we travelled there. When we first arrived, I wasn't very impressed by the property. At first glance, it felt rather compact &  uninspired. Located as it is in the Police Bazaar area, the views are not the best but it makes for the easiest access to shops, restaurants & cafes as well as parks like Wards Lake (which, due to the daily traffic jams in Shillong, is a huge plus). The room we stayed in was spacious, comfortable & spotlessly clean as one would expect from a Taj property. The bathrooms were compact but well designed with enough storage space. The heart of the hotel is its one all day dining restaurant & a bar set off to the side. All meals are taken here but the monotony of eating in the same space is offset by the quality of food served & the service. In addition to breakfast, we had a couple of meals here & they were impeccable. But what really lifts the property to another level is the staff. When you add genuine warmth, friendliness & service with a smile to the Taj training, the experience goes from excellent to exceptional. We would love to come back to Shillong & stay at the Vivanta Meghalaya, hopefully very soon in the future.

A nice hotel in the heart of the Shillong city.having great experience. Very Nice and humble staff. Warm welcome at reception. Clean Rooms,Hotel having multi cuisine restaurants. Having buffet/ Ala carte menu for breakfast,lunch and dinner. Overall we had an amazing experience there.

The overall stay was very pleasant. The front desk was very helpful and informative. They helped us plan our trips. Also arranged for passes to visit the nearby wards lake in early morning hours.The hotel was very conveniently situated. The house keeping was outstanding. They were mindful of my wife's religious beliefs and respected it. They were helpful and sevice was prompt.The restaurant services were also great.

The stay ate hotel was nice and we liked the staff behaviour, cleanliness and food. The location of the hotel is in the central place of Shillong and accessible to markets and restaurants However, there were limited amenities which can be improved further
